Founded in August 2006, Evolve Academy of Winchester is an extension of Mike Moses’ Evolve Academy, a Lloyd Irvin Affiliate (our main Facility located in Gaithersburg, Maryland).  Our team has a long deep rooted history in Martial Arts.

We are home to some of the world’s most elite competitors in the Brazilian/Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Thai Kickboxing, and Ultimate (MMA) Fighting arenas.

Our self-defense program is at the “top of the food chain” when it comes to practical self-defense.  The program, which takes a student from white belt to black belt was created by my instructors, Mike Moses and Frank Cucci (Instructor for the Navy’s elite SEAL team 6).

At Evolve a student will learn how to defend themselves confidently against any attack (including a weapon).  We give you the tools to competently assess, diffuse, and neutralize a hostile situation.
